Job Title: Manufacturing Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Worker for our facility in Sanford. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machines, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and performing general labor tasks.

Responsibilities

Operate and manage various manufacturing machines.

Follow SOPs to ensure efficiency and safety.

Perform general labor tasks as needed.

Frequently lift items weighing over 50 lbs.

Work collaboratively within a small team, where attendance is crucial.

Essential Skills

Experience in general labor or production environments.

Proficiency in machine operation and packaging.

Basic math skills for assessment purposes.

Okay with working in non-climate control

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous industrial or laborious experience.

Reliable with a strong attendance record.

Comfortable working with a respirator and in non-temperature-controlled environments.

Work Environment

This role requires wearing a hooded respirator, gloves, and boot covers. The facility is not temperature-controlled, meaning it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You will be working in a team of four, handling tasks such as lifting powdered barrels of silicon powder and gum material to place on machinery. The work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and on Fridays from 7:00 am to 11:30 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sanford, Maine.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
