Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Morgan Hill, California. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in managing and processing invoices, payments, and account coding with accuracy and efficiency. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure compliance with financial procedures while maintaining excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment approvals.

Perform account coding for invoices and transactions in accordance with company policies.

Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and ensure proper documentation.

Conduct regular check runs to process payments and address discrepancies.

Reconcile accounts payable records and resolve any outstanding issues.

Maintain detailed and organized records of all financial transactions.

Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries or payment concerns.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Support audits by providing accurate and complete accounts payable documentation. Requirements

2- 5 years of Proven experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles. - Proficiency in account coding and invoice processing. - Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment systems. - Ability to conduct check runs and manage payment schedules. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions. - Knowledge of financial software and tools, strong Excel and experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Recent Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
