Security is a significant concern for organizations and is prioritized by Microsoft. This role presents an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join the team and oversee the development of Threat Intelligence offerings, as well as key components of other Microsoft's security products such as our market-leading SIEM (Security Information & Event Management) solution, Microsoft Sentinel.

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will drive alignment between market trends, customer needs, and the product advancements built by our engineering teams.

The responsibilities of this role include formulating a product marketing strategy for the progression of Threat Intelligence technology and services, as well as key aspects of our SIEM product. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders such as product marketing teams of related products, security research teams, security product managers, and the customer experience team. Threat Intelligence and Microsoft Sentinel are vital aspects of Microsoft Security, offering a significant impact on both.

Responsibilities

Be the core inbound Product Marketing Manager for our Threat Intelligence technology.

Hold accountabilities related to our Sentinel SIEM (Security Information & Event Management product.

Partner closely with product engineering, security research, product marketing, business development and other functions to design strategy and align execution.

Engage with both customers and partners to solicit input used to inform product design and go-to-market approach.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business

OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

2+ years experience in product management or product marketing.

2+ years experience working for a Cybersecurity company with 4000+ employees.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

OR Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
