The base pay for this position is $22 per hour

Position Responsibilities
Enter data in the Yard Management System and check transactions for accuracy.
Create and update spreadsheets that reflect yard movement.
Contribute daily to yard accuracy and correct any/all yard discrepancies.
Monitoring and creating all necessary moves in the YMS that are requested by operations.
Dispatching drivers and verifying all documents for drivers deliveries and shipments.
Work cross-functionally and develop relationships with employees, drivers, managers, and operations at a variety of levels.
Schedule all necessary appointments for any drop or live loads for all departments.
Confirm daily pick-up/deliveries and verify loads arrive on time.
File and organize any necessary inbound or outbound paperwork.
Complete all requests pertaining to inbounds and outbounds.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Intermediate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Doc.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented and positive environment while also delivering independent results.
Honest, strong work ethic, resourceful and possess effective negotiation skills.
Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, internet and email.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a warehouse environment.
Order entry and administrative experience.
Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgency.
Detailed List of Tasks Performed by Yard Admin to be Used for Alignment
Closing/Assigning Inbounds
Close doors as submitted by pool point leadership on the "inbound/outbound closing sheets" under inbounds tab
Complete in Load to door and stamp with closing date
Complete unload and complete receiving in "yard view" (C3)
Initiate move to designated area
Return a loaded supplier inbound from the yard in "FIFO" order
Assign loads by matching inbound BOLs with load ID in the L2D page
Consolidate to a new load under the "LTL consolidation tab"
Closing Outbounds
Close doors as they are submitted by Pool Point leadership on the "inbound/outbound closing sheets" under outbounds tab
Create shipping documents/BOLs in Load to Door Management Page
Confirm trailer numbers, enter seal number, and print 2 copies (one for the driver and one for command center)
SHIP LOADS, create a cover sheet, and complete packet
Complete Load and initiate move to designated area in yard
Fluid lanes: bring empty return trailer for the next shell in TLP request
Create reservation using reference number, trailer information, and connect in "dock view" (C3)
Reassign next shell
Dispatching Drivers
Confirm driver log
Retrieve reference numbers and destinations
Verify cover sheet matches BOLs (trailer number, seal number, reference number, and destination) in outbound packet
Provide drivers with outbound packet
Sign driver copy
Have driver sign command center copy including driver license number and expiration
Request 2 straps
Provide driver with slot location of the trailer
Yard Audit
Print Yard audit form for yard driver
Update C3 with any discrepancies presented by driver
including: updating lost, trailer numbers, locations, or trailers not gated in
Complete Yard Audit google doc
Complete a Yard Safety Audit to include glad locks, pylon, wheel chocks etc. when applicable
Empty Validation
Export onsite report (C3) to excel filter for empty trailers only
Walk dock to confirm "empty trailers" are physically empty and the trailer numbers are correct
Update C3 with any discrepancies
Contact yard lead to validate empty trailers in yard spaces (update C3 with any discrepancies)
Scheduling
Monitor email for live/drop carrier requests (pool point, castle gate, returns, or maintenance)
If any appointment is missed ensure it is rescheduled
Ensure all appointments are under the correct sub-warehouse and department
Confirm all drayage appointments are setup correctly and approve via email
File receiving appointment ID's
Miscellaneous
Covering guard shack duties for lunch
Command center moves
Help OTR drivers
Help yard drivers
create all reservations for inbound/outbound
