Kentro is hiring an experienced Administrative Management Specialist to support USAID. The specialist will provide expert administrative and personnel management support to ORM leadership. The specialist will also lead operational planning, workforce optimization, policy interpretation, and coordination with HR and senior stakeholders to ensure compliance, efficiency, and effective organizational transitions.
Responsibilities:
Advise on administrative and personnel policies
Ensure compliance with federal and USAID regulations.
Coordinate HR and records processes across stakeholders.
Draft directives, policy briefs, and internal guidance.
Draft, edit, and disseminate official correspondence and reports.
Provide authoritative interpretations of OPM, OMB, and USAID policies.
Prepare reports, briefings, and memoranda for leadership.
Manage procurement, supplies, and hospitality services
Serve as ORM liaison to HR, budget, legal, and other offices.
Support cross-agency personnel-associated administrative and surge needs.
Location: Hybrid Model, in DC area. Flexibility to be on site as needed.
Note: No regular travel expected out side of normal commute. May require work outside business hours; telework subject to approval; on-site presence expected.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of additional experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in administrative or personnel management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and research tools.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
