Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Clerk to join our team in Torrance, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a vital part in supporting HR operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for HR and strong administrative skills to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and organize both physical and digital personnel records, including employment contracts and related documents.

Update internal databases with new employee information and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.

Create, publish, and remove job advertisements as needed.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations on HR metrics, such as hiring statistics by department.

Develop training and onboarding materials to streamline new employee integration.

Address employee inquiries regarding benefits, including vacation eligibility and other HR-related concerns.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and practices while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive and approachable HR environment.

Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in HR processes.

Assist with background checks, benefit functions, and other HR-related tasks as needed. Requirements - Degree or certification in Human Resources or a related field.

Entry-level experience in an HR role or equivalent administrative position.

Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or similar software.

Familiarity with ATS and HRMS platforms.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ethical judgment.

Critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
