Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring accuracy in data entry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and a passion for numbers.

Responsibilities:

Accurately input financial data into accounting systems to maintain up-to-date records.

Process invoices in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Reconcile discrepancies in financial documents and resolve errors as needed.

Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable and receivable.

Maintain organized and secure filing systems for financial documents.

Communicate with vendors and team members to address invoice-related queries.

Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as required.

Follow established procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes. Requirements - Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.

Previous experience in invoice processing or a similar accounting role.

Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external parties.

Competency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

A keen eye for detail to identify and correct errors.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting is a plus.
