Job Summary and Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY
The Cyber Intelligence Collections Lead supports the cyber threat intelligence program within the Cyber Operations department. The Cyber Intelligence Lead is responsible for maintaining knowledge, tools, capabilities, and relationships to collect and synthesize raw threat intelligence into meaningful and actionable intel for our stakeholders.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy:
Lead the development and refinement of intelligence requirements (IRs) from various internal stakeholders.
Design and implement effective collection plans based on stakeholder IRs utilizing a diverse array of sources to gather relevant threat data.
Manage and prioritize ongoing intelligence operations to ensure timely and relevant information acquisition, analysis, and dissemination.
Engage with ISACs and other intelligence sharing organizations on two-way threat intelligence sharing
Analysis & Reporting:
Conduct in-depth analysis of collected intelligence to identify emerging threats, TTPs of adverse actors, and specific vulnerabilities targeting the healthcare industry and our organization.
Collaborate closely with internal security teams to integrate intelligence findings into defensive strategies, threat hunting efforts, and vulnerability remediation plans.
Produce high-quality, actionable intelligence products (e.g., threat briefs, actor profiles, vulnerability assessments, flash reports) tailored to different audiences, from technical operators to senior executives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
Facilitate our stakeholder onboarding process - build out and maintain stakeholder profiles and collect intelligence requirements. Act as a primary point of contact for our stakeholders and establish regular feedback channels.
Support the various teams in Cyber Operations by providing critical intelligence @context and data.
Tooling:
Serve as the subject matter expert and administrator of our TIP platform.
Maintain intelligence requirements across our intelligence platforms and tooling.
Provide technical support across our array of intelligence platforms and tooling.
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
7+ years
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Expertise in intelligence collection methodologies (e.g., PIRs, EEIs, Indicators, Requirements development).
Proficiency with OSINT tools and techniques, commercial threat intelligence platforms, and threat data feeds.
Strong understanding of adversary TTPs, cyber kill chain, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and common security control frameworks.
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to synthesize complex information from multiple sources.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical details and strategic implications to diverse audiences.
Familiarity with data analysis techniques for large datasets; experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and collaborative skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
Fundamental understanding of technology in an enterprise infrastructure
Conceptual knowledge of event and log correlation
Fundamental understanding of security concepts including threat detection and response, threat hunting, and adversary emulation
Curious, investigative, eager to learn
