Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description

The Medical Assistant will work under the supervision of the healthcare provider, responsible for triaging patients, recording vitals, rooming patients, and documenting in the EPIC EMR system. The role also includes front desk duties such as scheduling.

Responsibilities

Triage patients and record vital signs accurately.

Room patients efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of appointments.

Document patient information in the EPIC EMR system with precision.

Perform front desk duties, including scheduling appointments.

Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using the EPIC EMR system.

Experience in patient triage and recording vital signs.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.

1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Reliability and excellent attendance record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to handle data entry tasks accurately.

Work Environment

The position is in a busy multi-specialty office that sees 80-120 patients per day. The working hours are until 5:00 PM. The role offers opportunities for growth within the system, with potential to move to different departments and locations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
