Position Description
The IS Applications Analyst 3- ERP Financial Business Analyst position is responsible for managing activities within the Oracle Cloud Expense and Payables module(s) and providing backup support for the integrated Oracle Cloud Projects and Grants and Procurement module(s). This role works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support accurate financial operations and maintain data integrity across the Oracle Cloud platform. Typical duties include analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and working with technical leads to implement and upgrade any custom and vendor supported applications, databases, and infrastructure.
ITS is a 24x7 information technology shop. Applicant must be willing and available to perform duties as required by the job. This may include work on nights, weekends, and holidays
Typical Duties
Application support and administration for Oracle Cloud Expense and Payables module(s) and backup support for Oracle Cloud Projects and Grants and Procurement module(s)
Change Control or Package Build (Coordination, request, preparation, approval)
Data management and monitoring, including archiving and purging processes where appropriate, monitoring/reviews of data or jobs queues and jobs, preparation, and request of data updates outside operational user's security, copying/backup.
Schedule recurring jobs (administration, monitoring/reviews, requesting)
Annual software or setup maintenance for supported applications
Application testing, including the development of test plans and test cases and troubleshooting the application
Application Training for supported applications (coordination, scheduling, instruction, preparation).
Training Class transaction entry and maintenance support and maintain application interfaces/integrations.
Prepare requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, business analysis, tasks, and workflow analysis.
Report or form development and maintenance as appropriate for supported areas
Calendar or Fiscal Year end special application maintenance
Review current business processes and makes recommendations for process improvement.
Project task and analysis work for enhancements and/or issues related to customer and vendor applications.
Minimum Qualifications
Three or more years of combined experience in Oracle, R12,EBS or related technology systems support or programming.

REQUIRED LICENSE:
Valid Driver's License
Candidate must receive and maintain a 'passing' status from Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) background check.
Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in large complex enterprise-wide system implementations as a project team member
Experience supporting users in a production environment
Experience coordinating, requesting or updating application security within an ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) system
Experience in creating process documentation
Experience in managing complex internal and external data analysis
