Houlton, ME - Full-Time/Days - Temp-to-Hire\

Immediate need for a qualified candidate to work as a Finance Officer
for a locally-based organization.Great opportunity for an individual
that takes initiative, learns quickly, and can assess and prioritize the
organization\'s needs.Excellent 4-day work week. Benefits, including
health, dental and vision insurance, 401k, paid holidays, and earned
PTO, available after temp-to-hire period.Full-Time/Days; 7:00 AM - 5:00
PM, Monday through Thursday. \$24.00-\$26.00/hr.

The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing all financial
operations within the organization and ensuring compliance with
statutory, regulatory, and agency funding requirements. Responsibilities
will include overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable,
collecting and distributing program funds, and keeping accurate, timely
records of all financial transactions. Employee will prepare monthly
budgets and distribute financial reports to appropriate parties, prepare
audits, reconcile bank statements, and assist organization executives
with annual budgets and overall financial management.\

Responsibilities:\
Manage all accounts payable, accounts receivable and tenant
accounts.
Collect, record, and administer funds in accordance with all
required policies and procedures.
Issue routine budget reports to the program\'s Executive Director as
scheduled.
Compile and submit financial reports to federal, state and private
agencies, per funding agreement with each agency.
Oversee comprehensive annual audit and report findings to
organization leadership and funding agencies.
Assist the Executive Director with annual housing plans.
Prepare budget projections and compare actual vs. projected income
and expense reports.
Collaborate with Executive Director to manage activity funds.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all accounts are balanced
within a reasonable period.
Ensure that all fixed assets belonging to the organization are
properly maintained and accounted for.
Perform other relevant administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, business, or related field of
study.
Three or more years of financial management experience.
Strong computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Word,
Excel, and QuickBooks.
Drug screen and background check required.
\
Pay:\$24.00-\$26.00/hr. Health, dental, vision insurance, 401k, paid
holidays, and earned PTO available after temp-to-hire period.\
Schedule:7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.\
