As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By remaining visible and approachable, you will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and identify any unusual activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and support a secure environment for employees and visitors.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
