The Manager of ElectricEngineering will manage a team of electrical engineers specialized in electrical design. The ideal candidate will also be responsbile for talent development and setting department functional excellence.

Must be able to work onsite at Zebra's Holtsville, NY location 3 days a week, 2 days can be remote.

Responsibilities:

Directs and manages the activities of an electrical engineering team within the product group, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product development goals.

Contributes to the creation and execution of innovative policies and integrated business solutions to support product development initiatives.

Develops and establishes operational policies, delegates assignments effectively, and ensures accountability for cost efficiency and productivity, indirectly impacting P&L performance.

Implements programs and solutions that improve engineering processes, reduces costs and cycle time, and enhances customer service levels.

Serves as a recognized technical and organizational leader, exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve desired results.

Applies deep knowledge of hardware electronics, product design, technology trends, and business complexities to lead the development of innovative engineering solutions within the department.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in an appropriate (electrical) engineering discipline preferred.

Bachelor's +6 years' experience

Master's +4 years' experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in people management highly desirable

Experience leading Asia JDM partners

Detail oriented, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills

Experience with embedded Microprocessors, memory systems, analog circuits, schematic capture

Knowledge and experience in designing battery management systems and DC-DC power Supplies

Salary: USD 136100.00 - USD 204100.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
