We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to provide temporary support to our team. This role involves processing a high volume of vendor invoices in a fast-paced environment, resolving invoice discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate payments, managing accruals, assisting with month-end close activities, and supporting audits.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective time management, excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes and controls. A keen eye for detail, a team-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach are also essential for success in this position.

Process a high volume of vendor invoices in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with internal controls prior to entry into SAP.

Handle check requests (RFC) by verifying required details, ensuring supporting documents are attached, and confirming approval at the appropriate levels.

Assist with payment processing, including mailing checks.

Perform month-end accounts payable accruals and closing activities.

File invoices and other accounting records, ensuring proper organization and assisting with document retrieval as needed.

Process freight batch reports.

Process petty cash transactions.

Provide support for audits.

Collect and distribute mails.

Skills & Qualifications

Associate's degree in Accounting.

2-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls, particularly those related to accounts payable.

Familiar with accounting software. SAP experience is a plus.

Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
