A Medical Director at VCA is a job that gives you autonomy, ownership, and career growth. It allows you to share in the success of the hospital. Our hospital is equipped with the latest veterinary technology and services, including digital radiology, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, surgical laser, and soft tissue surgery We are committed to using fear-free techniques when possible We offer a great culture with a supportive and collaborative approach

Schedule

Full-Time schedule Our hospital is open 6 days a week, Monday - Friday 7:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 2:00pm.

Our veterinarians are currently averaging 34 hours a week of appointment time, with a set day off during the week and rotating Saturday shifts. No on-call time. Emergency, Urgent Care, and Specialty/Referral Hospitals are nearby. Our goal is to find a great work-life balance!

Compensation

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Sign-on/relocation/longevity bonuses available. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas state, or the ability to obtain A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
