Complete Pest Solutions is excited to announce a job opening for a dedicated Wildlife and Pest Control Specialist. This full-time, on-site position encompasses a wide range of activities geared towards managing and resolving human-wildlife conflicts sensitively and scientifically. As this is not a remote job, our new specialist will be an essential in-field member of our team, directly addressing and resolving client concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive site inspections to identify wildlife and pest-related issues.
Implement industry-standard control measures and removal techniques safely and humanely.
Engage in habitat modification and exclusion strategies to prevent pest re-entry.
Provide detailed documentation and reporting on site visits, assessments, and treatments carried out.
Collaborate with clients to provide education and recommendations for preventing future wildlife and pest issues.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to pesticide and trap use.
Handle chemicals and traps according to safety guidelines to avoid contamination or harm to the environment, humans, and non-target species.
Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition through regular maintenance and inspections.
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of protocols and practices to enhance the effectiveness of pest control solutions.
Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay current with industry trends and breakthroughs in pest management.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Wildlife and Pest Control Specialist or similar role.
Proficient in using various types of pest control equipment and comfortable performing ladder work.
Ability to engage in face-to-face sales and advisory services, with strong persuasive communication skills.
Maintain a clean driving record with a valid driver's license appropriate for the class of vehicle operated.
An impeccable background check reflective of a responsible and trustworthy individual.
Commitment to a drug-free lifestyle, with periodic testing as per company policies.
Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, equipment, and documentation effectively.
Self-driven with the capacity to work independently and make informed decisions.
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster an environment of cooperation and respect among peers.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members.
