Sodexo is seeking a F ood Operations Manager 2 for Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC. Vidant Edgecombe Hospital has a total of 117 beds. This includes 101 general acute care beds and 16 rehabilitation beds. The hospital also has a 10-room Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU), 2 procedure rooms, and 4 Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) bays

MONDAY-FRIDAY SCHEDULE NO WEEKENDS! (subject to change based on business needs)

What You'll Do

be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;

ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;

have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;

ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or

have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

What You Bring

have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement -Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
