Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in supporting activities related to receiving, storing, and managing inventory of materials used in manufacturing. This position requires adherence to company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

Receive materials delivered to the warehouse.

Perform initial inspection of materials upon delivery.

Execute SAP transactions to receive materials.

Physically move materials to storage locations or manufacturing areas.

Contact vendors to resolve issues with materials received, such as damaged or incorrect items.

Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Track inventory usage and order materials to maintain required inventory levels.

Create or update materials in SAP.

Perform cycle counts in SAP.

Follow GMP for all documentation and activities performed.

Generate or revise department SOPs, including receiving, material handling, inventory material requests, etc., as necessary.

Issue materials in SAP to the manufacturing department for use during production.

Collaborate with procurement to close open purchase orders and resolve issues with material receipt.

Essential Skills

Experience with SAP.

Proficiency in performing cycle counts.

Familiarity with receiving and warehouse operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma required; Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

3 to 5 years of warehouse and SAP experience.

Experience in a GMP regulated environment.

Preferred experience in an aseptic manufacturing environment.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Capability to work in a confined, controlled environment and function effectively as a team member.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to multitask and reprioritize workload per changing project demands.

Highly motivated and able to work under limited supervision.

Good communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
