Description

We are looking for a meticulous Administrative Assistant to join our team in Coldwater, Michigan. In this role, you will provide critical support to students and staff, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a non-profit environment. This is a 100% onsite role, Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm and Fridays 8:00am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Act as a key liaison between the organization and external service providers, including vendors and suppliers.

Assist students with enrollment processes, including address verification, financial aid applications, transcript submissions, placement testing, and academic advising connections.

Facilitate technology readiness and support students with registration payments and learning tools.

Manage office operations, including answering inbound calls, scheduling appointments, and handling email correspondence.

Ensure the office is securely closed at the end of the day, coordinating with on-site security as needed.

Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, maintaining up-to-date records.

Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a composed demeanor.

Support the team with administrative tasks, including creating documents and presentations using Microsoft Office tools.

Maintain a welcoming and organized environment for students and visitors.

Occasionally lift and move materials or equipment weighing between 8 and 45 pounds.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support or a related role.

Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Competence in handling inbound and outbound calls professionally.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

Familiarity with data entry and email correspondence.

Physical ability to perform occasional lifting and movement of materials or equipment. TalentMatch®
