This job is within the American Airlines Credit Union and plays a key role in driving innovation, efficiency, and compliance across the Credit Union's loan and account origination processes. This includes supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on member experience, team member enablement, and regulatory integrity.
What you'll do
?Lead the administration and support of the loan and account origination systems, including user access management in alignment with PCI compliance
Participate in and lead business enhancement projects with a focus on improving both member and team member experiences
Collaborate across departments to drive digital-first process improvements and support product growth
Research, respond to, and resolve system-related issues and member complaints
Maintain and manage a comprehensive library of account and loan origination policies, procedures, and documentation
Ensure content and system functionality meet regulatory compliance and documentation standards
Partner with vendors, coordinate release updates, managing integrations, implement solutions, organizing resources, ensure vendors meet performance expectations
Ensure adherence to change management processes and maintain proper documentation
Analyze system capabilities and benchmark with industry best practices to recommend improvements
Create and maintain custom reports to support performance tracking, application activity, and business analysis
Manage and resolve general ledger issues related to origination processes
Oversee the department's invoice approval process and maintain budgeting worksheets to support financial tracking and planning
Support internal teams-including frontline staff, the Solution Center, and Training-with procedural guidance and system expertise
Assist with training and communication efforts to prepare users for system changes
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
?High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
?Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline
Three or more years of loan and/or account processing experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
?Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and effectively implement change using technology
Ability to be self-directed and comfortable with accepting ownership, responsibility and accountability of functional obligations
Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills & exercise effective interpersonal skills
Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational and analytical skills and capacity for attention to detail
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management and staff
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
