Job Description
As a Customer Remediation Program Owner, this role leads strategic program management and operational excellence within the Remediation Center of Excellence (CoE). The position partners with Line of Business leaders, Risk Compliance & Audit (RCA) Consultants, and fellow RCA Managers to design, implement, and sustain a robust risk management framework that aligns with enterprise goals and regulatory expectations.
Core Responsibilities:
Program Strategy & Governance
Develop and execute strategic initiatives for the Remediation CoE, ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant remediation processes. Lead cross-functional collaboration to reduce risk, enhance customer and employee experience, and improve operational consistency.
Goal Tracking & Performance Alignment
Establish measurable goals and expectations across remediation activities. Monitor progress through structured reporting and dashboards, aligning outcomes with enterprise risk appetite and performance objectives.
Executive Reporting & Communication
Produce high-impact executive decks and operational reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies. Translate complex data into digestible insights that support strategic decision-making and regulatory transparency.
Risk Identification & Escalation
Facilitate proactive identification of gaps in processes, systems, or controls. Drive resolution strategies that minimize losses and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Community of Practice Leadership
Champion a structured Community of Practice to foster shared learning, policy alignment, and innovation across business lines. Promote best practices in remediation scenarios, stakeholder engagement, and policy interpretation.
Regulatory Engagement & Exam Readiness
Lead and support regulatory exam preparation, including documentation of remediation workflows, validation protocols, and tiered approval structures. Ensure readiness for OCC and other oversight bodies through strategic planning and stakeholder coordination.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Advanced knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
Advanced understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
Applicable professional certifications
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
