As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a critical utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain proper credentials at all times. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards within the location, reporting findings according to established protocols.
Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and enforce site rules and regulations.
Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Participate in emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, following site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
