Packaging Operator

The machine operator is responsible for operating food mixing, blending, and packaging machinery in a food manufacturing facility. The role requires understanding, following, and enforcing established safety, health, quality, and company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.

Operate and manage food mixing, blending, and packaging machinery.

Set up and troubleshoot packaging machines and handle machine changeovers.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test machinery, and make necessary adjustments.

Observe machine operations to ensure product quality and conformity to standards.

Regulate machine flow or speed as needed.

Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in mixing, blending, and/or packaging machine operation.

GMP is essential.

Ability to complete changeovers on machinery.

Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
