As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any situations that arise, always upholding the values of reliability, agility, and integrity. This position may require driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the location.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any observed theft or policy violations.

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required for positions that primarily involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
