Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant in our FTEP program, you'll contribute to key financial operations and projects, including:

Preparing and analyzing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, etc.).

Managing the general ledger and ensuring account reconciliations are accurate and timely.

Supporting budgeting and financial forecasting efforts.

Ensuring compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.

Engaging in process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and enhance productivity.

Assisting with month-end and year-end closings.

Participating in audits (internal and external) and providing documentation as needed.

Acting as a mentor to junior accounting staff and sharing best practices.

You'll be deployed on exciting projects for top-tier clients, giving you exposure to a wide range of industries, accounting challenges, and forward-thinking organizations.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including time in a senior-level role.

Familiarity with accounting software systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.

Skills and Traits:

Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Capacity to adapt quickly to new environments and deliver results in dynamic settings.

Certifications (preferred but not required):

CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications.
