Who We're Looking For
The Lexus Central Area is seeking a passionate and highly motivated District Sales Manager to join our team.
This role is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for Lexus dealers within an assigned district on all New and Lexus Certified Preowned vehicle sales-related activities. Being a District Service & Parts Manager (DSPM) or equivalent field experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Reporting to the Vehicle Field Sales Manager, this individual will strengthen dealer partnerships by inspiring operational excellence, consulting on dealer operations to maximize sales, fostering a culture of guest-first hospitality, and driving sustainable growth through strategies aligned with Lexus' commitment to Omotenashi, Kaizen (continuous improvement) and Respect for People. This individual will work within a highly collaborative group of other District Sales Managers, continuously learning from and supporting their team in addition to their assigned set of dealerships.
What You'll Be Doing
Consult with dealers on all sales-related aspects of their operation with the end result of maximizing both new and certified pre-owned vehicles sales.
Wholesale new vehicles and coach on inventory management practices (ex. preferencing, vehicle change requests, etc.).
Analyze and determine the best accessory strategy for individual dealers utilizing a mix of both port installed and dealer installed options.
Utilize dealership revenue optimization tools to maximize inventory efficiency, profitability, and market responsiveness.
Lead and manage all digital retailing related activities within your district, including website reviews, digital consultations, dealer awareness/training, and support any dealers enrolled in Lexus Monogram program.
Gain dealer buy in on key Lexus initiatives and programs; and ensure dealers are adhering to the Lexus franchise agreement, including all Lexus sales and marketing policies and procedures.
Build and maintain trusted, productive relationships with Dealer Principals, senior dealership leaders, key affiliates, and business partners.
Develop and execute strategies that strengthen both dealer and brand loyalty while driving market share growth.
Monitor and consult on dealership operational performance, providing solutions that elevate results and the guest experience.
Champion the development of industry-leading guest experiences at every touchpoint in the dealership journey.
Assign and manage dealer new vehicle and certified pre-owned sales objectives.
Oversee dealership allocations and accessory penetration performance.
Achieve district and dealer sales, training, and certification goals.
Submit all required reports (e.g., contact reports, sales estimates, profit summaries) with accuracy and timeliness.
Partner closely with the District Service & Parts Manager to ensure a balanced, high-performing operation.
Share best practices across the Area through forums such as monthly priorities meetings, dealer performance groups, and peer roundtables.
Travel in compliance with company guidelines to support departmental and regional objectives.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent professional work experience.
Previous field experience, specifically within the DSPM role (or equivalent).
Strong communication, organizational, prioritization and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Extensive experience in the automotive industry.
Skilled in public speaking, thinking on your feet, and able to deliver high-impact presentations.
Ability to travel 70%+.

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,000.00 - $147,900.00.Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan.
