Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

One of Insight Globals major clients are seeking a qualified accounts payable professional to join their team. Selected candidates will be responsible for assisting various internal teams, such as tax, accounting, AP, and accounting with administrative and document processing support. General responsibilities include:

Aid accounts payable with duplicate review which includes exporting data from Payroll software into excel and utilizing SharePoint to open invoice pdfs.

Compare current pdf invoices to historical invoices for invoice #, invoice date, vendor name, etc. Est. 200-400 invoices weekly to review.

Aid tax department with downloading pdf invoices from Maximo for sales and use tax analysis

Assist Accounting team with new software implementation tie out of prior reports to new reports.

Aid accounts payable with master vendor file cleanup and reaching out to vendors for updated W9s and support.

Skills and Requirements

GED with 3-5 years of experience supporting accounts payable functions.

Intermediate Excel experience (basic formulas, pivots, lookups)

Willing to train on job: SharePoint, adobe pdf, file organization

Strong verbal and written communication skills null
