Job Title: 2nd Shift Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician for the 2nd shift who is committed to ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role involves maintaining and repairing electrical systems and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (12pm - 10pm)

Pay Rate: $50-$55 an hour

Location: Everett, MA

Responsibilities

Adhere strictly to all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards to provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure system compatibility and safety.

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs, ensuring compliance with codes.

Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdowns and correct problems.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in electrical installation, testing, and maintenance.

Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial settings.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Experience with preventive maintenance procedures.

Skilled in PLC troubleshooting and conduit bending.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Journeyman Electrical License required.

OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE).

Proficiency with journeyman hand tools.

Work Environment

This role involves working at an outdoor site exposed to various weather conditions. The position is for the 2nd shift, with hours from 12 PM to 10 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
