NBCUniversal is hiring a Manager of Platform Operations to lead the programming of mobile-exclusive features, such as vertical video, mini-games, etc. We are seeking a cool-headed, detail-obsessed team member who is adept at managing the ebb and flow of a massive digital library in a fast-evolving industry and can be a Swiss Army Knife to support the team.
This is a remote role that is required to work nights and weekends.
The Platform Operations team is tasked with ensuring the readiness of the streaming library by managing the artwork, metadata and related assets that power the streaming library, including alternative and custom assets used in audience segmentation and multi-variate testing.
It is a 24/7 operation responsible for updating content based on performance, programming tactics and events unfolding in real time, working in coordination with the Product, Marketing, and Customer Support teams in addition to other stakeholders. Additionally, this role will be involved in product enhancements, metadata optimization, and feature expansions that keep Peacock evolving and current in the streaming landscape.
You will bring hands-on experience managing complex publishing projects, and aptitude with a variety of content management systems or computer programs, and a sense of personal responsibility for the accuracy of their work while multitasking multiple projects that cover a variety of operating procedures and systems.
To excel, you must be able to set and meet deadlines for publishing large volumes of content, communicate fluently with the teams throughout the company, and consistently strive to improve workflows and processes.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of partner communication and content distribution for NBCUniversal and Peacock properties
Ideate and collaborate on new product enhancements by advising on the operational implementation that'd bring said experience to life
Support a 24/7 operation responsible for updating content based on performance, programming tactics, and events unfolding in real-time - while working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Support teams in addition to other stakeholders
Provide additional support for tentpole initiatives across NBCUniversal verticals, including high-profile content launches, breaking news events, and marquee sporting events
Evaluate incidents to identify immediate solutions and work with the Impact team to escalate issues to the proper departments if necessary
Liaison between Merchandising Strategy, Product, Ad Sales, and Programming teams to ensure that all parties are informed of platform scheduling
Support the Sr. Manager of Platform Operations in process optimizations, product enhancements, and both strategic and creative decision-making
Ability to work nights and weekends
3+ years' experience working on digital media platforms
2+ years of experience managing title operations or publishing at a large-scale merchandising, e-commerce, or video service
Exhibit excellent organization and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate workflows and concepts for a variety of audiences
Maintain strong leadership skills and committed to being a team player
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes for efficiencies and help develop new workflows for continual improvement for platform operations
Excellent writing and presentation skills
A passion for television, movies, sports, and news
Ability to work holidays, weekends, late nights
Ability to travel to Universal City, Los Angeles, CA or New York City, New York when needed

Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000 (bonus eligible).
