Our client, a trusted name in manufacturing, is seeking a Machine Operator/Material Handler to join their team. As a Machine Operator/Material Handler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting plant operations and logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to follow instructions closely, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator / Material Handler
Location: Homerville, Ga
Pay Range: $15.85/hour
What's the Job?
Operate assigned machinery or equipment and perform material loading/unloading tasks
Operate equipment involved in production or material handling processes
Follow all safety policies and use required PPE; ensure safety features are in place
Conduct visual inspections of products to maintain quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and perform general upkeep in assigned work areas
What's Needed?
Ability to operate machinery or willingness to learn
Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
Physical ability to lift, move, and load/unload materials
Basic understanding of quality control and visual inspections
Flexibility to take on tasks as assigned by a supervisor
