The Delaware Valley Floral Group Technology Business Analyst Project Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that the team is working effectively to deliver quality solutions that help the organization build scalable, resilient, best-in-class solutions, products, and infrastructure. The successful candidate has experience in and is confident in their abilities to manage tech-related workstreams, facilitate and track dependencies between cross-functional teams to ensure the right features are delivered on time, in scope, and on budget while providing high visibility and transparency to all project deliverables.
They partner with the business to gather and prioritize business requirements, advise on tech-related solutions, translate business and customer requirements into functional and technical requirements, shape project success criteria around tech-related workstreams and solutions, and ensure that key stakeholder satisfaction and business goals are met to match the needs of our audience. They foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align at every touchpoint throughout the entire project lifecycle.
To succeed in this role, they must be adaptable and confident in building structure where there is ambiguity. They need to have a mindset of no task too small, ready to help, support as needed, and own tasks to completion. They must build a reputation as a trusted partner who understands the business and collaborates to deliver on commitments and drive business results. Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders across various business units to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements
Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions understanding optionality between leveraging ERP functionalities and alternate applications
Translate complex business needs into clear, concise, and actionable functional specifications, use cases, and process flows
Solution Design & Configuration:
Collaborate with technical teams (developers, solution architects) to design and configure technical solutions that meet business requirements.
Participate in system testing, including creating test plans, test cases, and performing user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify and troubleshoot system issues, working closely with IT support and vendors.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
Proactively identify opportunities for process standardization and optimization within the ERP and integrated system landscape.
Support change management activities related to system implementations and upgrades.
Project Management Support:
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of tech projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on project status and risks.
Document project artifacts, including functional designs, configuration documents, and training materials.
Physical Demands:
This is an office-based position with extended periods of computer use. Occasional travel to warehouse or distribution facilities, including overnight stays, may be required. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on evolving legacy processes.
Experience with medium scale technical projects involving 3rd party partners, business/database applications (ERP/WMS), system integrations, and data migration processes, preferably in a distribution/supply chain environment
Proficient knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications (Access, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word) and/or other relevant software programs.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to initiate and drive projects; ability to work independently and in a team.
The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time pressures.
