Description
Our client, a successful boutique law firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join their team in Brighton. You will be supporting attorneys in the administration of estates and trusts, probate process, preparation of estate tax returns, trust funding, and fiduciary accountings.
Location: Brighton, MA (just outside of Boston)
Salary: $65,000 - $100,000 (DOE)
Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in, 1 day remote)
Hours: 9am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with the administration of trusts and estates, including probate processes and filings.
Prepare estate tax returns and related documentation with accuracy and compliance.
Manage trust funding activities and ensure proper allocation of assets.
Conduct fiduciary accountings and maintain detailed records.
Provide guidance and support on estate planning matters to clients and legal teams.
Research and interpret probate laws and regulations to ensure adherence.
Communicate with financial institutions and other parties regarding trust and estate matters.
Coordinate and organize legal documents for hearings and client meetings.
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of all tasks related to trust and estate administration.
Requirements
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in trusts & estates as a paralegal or legal assistant
Strong understanding of probate and trust laws and procedures.
Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
