Areas of Job accountability and performance for Administrative Assistant: Duties include but are
not limited to: Answers the phone, receives and transmits orders for the Fair Department, prepares
claims against the department for payment, prepares payroll time sheets and cards and submits to
Clerk and Recorder for payment, assure proper employment documentation of Fair time employees,
coordinates and enters data daily into data management and cost analysis spreadsheets, performs
general office duties - @types, files, orders supplies, runs errands, distributes mail, picks up and
delivers work to courthouse and banks, cleans office building, @types letters and reports for the
Fair manager as requested. Serves as Entry Clerk for fair -- duties include but are not limited to:
maintaining Exhibitor Handbook information, enters data for all open class exhibitors, prints
judging books, enters judging results, maintains ribbon inventory.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITIES: This position requires knowledge of general office procedures,
machines, and accounting. This position requires skills in typing and use of computer. This
position requires the ability to: relate in a positive way to the public and work crew; prepare
documents and perform data entry in a timely manner; organize; pay attention to detail; be flexible
to change; travel to run errands; adhere to standards of confidentiality; communicate effectively
orally and in writing; follow verbal and written instruction; establish effective working
relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, and the public. This position required routine
walking, standing, bending, carrying items & must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

the public.
Salary is dependent on experience.
