Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Director of Field & Customer Marketing to lead and execute high-impact campaigns that drive pipeline growth, customer retention, and expansion. This strategic role sits at the intersection of Sales & Marketing teams -with a 50/50 focus on Field Marketing and Customer Marketing.

You will be the connective tissue between Sales, Digital Marketing, and Content Marketing teams-partnering across teams to craft and execute campaigns, events, and experiences that address the specific needs of both prospects and customers. This includes overseeing events and tradeshows that support brand visibility, engagement, and pipeline goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Marketing (50%)

Serve as the strategic marketing partner to the new business Sales team, building tailored programs that generate qualified leads, accelerate the pipeline, and support deal progression.

Work closely with Digital and Content Marketing to personalize campaigns and develop assets that align with buyer needs, personas, and industry challenges.

Oversee the planning and execution of field events, tradeshows, and campaigns that create meaningful engagement with high-value prospects.

Continuously measure, report on, and optimize campaign performance and event ROI using pipeline contribution and sales feedback.

Customer Marketing (50%)

Partner with the GOE (Grow on Existing) Sales team to identify opportunities for expansion, retention, and advocacy.

Design and execute customer engagement campaigns and programs, including onboarding, product education, renewal journeys, and upsell/cross-sell initiatives.

Partnering with Content and Sales team, develop and manage a scalable customer advocacy program-including customer stories, case studies, references, and speaking opportunities.

Plan and execute customer-facing events such as user groups, webinars, executive briefings, and appreciation experiences.

Leverage the expertise of the Digital and Content Marketing teams to personalize and scale outreach based on customer segments and lifecycle stages.

Qualifications:

10+ years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on field marketing, customer marketing, or demand generation.

Proven experience partnering with Sales to build targeted campaigns that drive measurable pipeline and revenue.

Strong understanding of marketing across the full customer lifecycle-from acquisition to retention.

Experience overseeing event strategy and execution across both virtual and in-person formats.

Skilled in leveraging cross-functional expertise from Digital Marketing and Content teams to build impactful programs.

Proficient with marketing and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo) and event management tools.

Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
