National Account Manager

Position Overview

We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced and results-driven National Accounts Manager to oversee and grow strategic relationships with key customers across the United States. This role is responsible for managing large-scale client accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional relationship-building skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that align with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned national accounts, ensuring strong communication, service excellence, and long-term partnerships.

Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, expand product placement, and increase market share.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to drive profitable growth while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, product development, and supply chain teams to meet client needs and deliver solutions.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and account performance to identify new opportunities and risks.

Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior leadership.

Resolve client issues in a timely and effective manner, ensuring retention of key accounts.

Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).

5+ years of experience in national account management, key account sales, or business development-preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, CPG, distribution, or similar].

Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar accounts and achieving revenue growth targets.

Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Ability to analyze data, develop actionable insights, and make sound business decisions.

Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel nationally (up to 40%).

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
