Finance at Microsoft interfaces across a broad intersection of business partners including Engineering, Marketing, Category Management, Sales, Data Science, Investments, Pricing/Deals and Supply Chain teams.

Windows is the bedrock upon which all of Microsoft's Consumer (Search, Office and Gaming) and Commercial (Data & AI, Infrastructure, Modern Work, Biz apps) businesses reside. The fast-paced and dynamic PC market environment presents many exciting challenges for the team to tackle and deliver creative solutions. The Windows and Devices Finance Team is recruiting candidates across Revenue, Investments, Compete and Go-To-Market (GTM)/Sales Finance roles.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
OR equivalent experience.
3+ years deep financial modelling and sensitivity analysis? corporate experience
Preferred Experience
Proficient financial analysis & modeling skills. This role requires a hands-on approach, and the individual must be comfortable in rolling up his/her/ their sleeves and diving in.
Passion for great work and demonstrated drive. Ability to effectively prioritize across multiple workstreams with attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Able to handle diverse stakeholders with a professsional degree of ambiguity and bring partners along in thought leadership and finance agenda. Be committed and think outside the box.
A proven track record of influencing the business through initiative and in bringing proactive financial analysis and insight.
Corporate communication skills (written and oral), including an ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
