FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Flexible 1st shift between 6 am to 3 pm. Shift Details: Holidays: Weekends: Job Summary: Confidentially performs the required functions to accurately and timely prepare the organization\'s bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls under the direction of the Payroll Manager. Coordinates all aspects of the payroll process with respect to staff compensation, deductions and taxing for multiple process levels/payrolls to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Perform maintenance and testing of the Lawson payroll system, Kronos time accrual, Kronos Timekeeper, Kronos Attendance and the MHC check writing software. Provide training for leaders on above systems and customer service to both staff and leaders within the organization. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION A minimum of 4 years of Payroll experience is required. Multi-state and multi-cycle payroll experience is preferred. Healthcare payroll experience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in IT is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Excellent organization skills including process and detail focus. Expertise in the use of computer programs including Word, Excel, Payroll processing systems, time and attendance systems, e-mail and use of the internet a must. Flexibility of work schedule a must to provide coverage for all payroll cycles. Must be able to work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills is required. Knowledge of automated time and attendance systems is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: CPP Certificate is preferred.
