Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support financial services operations in Avon, Minnesota. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, assisting with administrative tasks and customer service. The role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in office software.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service by supporting the receptionist, setting up client accounts, and updating client files.

Maintain investment literature and applications, ensuring all materials are organized and accessible.

Prepare and distribute paperwork for account changes and other client requests.

Assist in the preparation of client meetings by creating financial plans, running statements, and compiling relevant documents.

Organize meeting agendas and ensure all required materials are available for discussions.

Generate quotes and pre-populate applications for life insurance and long-term care policies.

Handle customer inquiries related to their insurance policies with professionalism and accuracy.

Perform general administrative duties such as filing, copying, editing, and coordinating meetings.

Utilize office tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, and fax machines to complete tasks efficiently.

Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with company standards. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in financial services.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong typing skills, with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to provide high-quality customer service and manage client inquiries effectively.

Familiarity with life insurance and long-term care applications is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
