Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Savannah, Georgia. This contract position offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate and efficient invoice processing, payment management, and adherence to accounting standards. Responsibilities:

Process and code invoices accurately to ensure timely payments.

Manage provider payments and reconcile credit card transactions.

Maintain and update general ledger entries to reflect accurate financial data.

Utilize Salesforce to oversee the Accounts Payable Dashboard and generate accounting reports.

Prepare and file sales and use tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Provide assistance during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve accounting-related issues.

Review and complete expense reports while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Support the Accounts Receivable team when needed.

Perform other accounting duties as assigned to meet departmental goals. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent work experience may be considered.

At least 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, with a focus on rental invoicing.

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel.

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.

Strong problem-solving abilities and effective research skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
