The MCAPS E&O Revenue Operations team empowers every person in MCAPS to better serve customers by activating and transforming the Microsoft commercial revenue engine. We are seeking a strategic individual who will be responsible for shaping and executing the content and communications strategy that supports the MCAPS planning rhythm of business (RoB). This role will drive clarity, alignment, and engagement across stakeholders by developing compelling narratives, scalable content, and communication frameworks that support fiscal planning.
This Sr. Manager Commercial Planning - MCAPS E&O Revenue Operations role is focused on delivering the right messages to the right people in the right way-clearly, consistently, and effectively. The individual will lead the development of strategic content and experiences, shape key narratives, manage content planning milestones, and guide stakeholders-across both core and regional audiences-on what's happening, what's next, and what's due. Responsibilities include creating clear and engaging content, managing communications for key events like the Planning Summit, and the MCAPS Leadership Summit (MLS), aligning messaging with planning milestones. The role also involves mapping and delivering a clear content journey, simplifying engagement through streamlined templates, and collaborating with the Planning and Comms Lead community to ensure consistency across MCAPS. Responsibilities
Strategic Content Development
Create and manage planning-related content including executive narratives, planning frameworks, milestone communications, and enablement materials that support MCAPS-wide planning motions.
Communications Strategy
Design and execute internal communications plans that align with planning milestones, business priorities, and change management needs.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner closely with Revenue Operations, E&O, and cross-MCAPS teams to ensure consistent messaging, timely updates, and alignment across planning workstreams.
Enablement & Onboarding
Lead the development of onboarding materials and training assets for planning leads and stakeholders, including Planning Summit content and asset libraries.
Program Management
Support the execution of the planning RoB, including managing calendars, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring timely publication of materials.
Insights & Feedback Loops
Establish mechanisms to gather feedback, measure communication effectiveness, and continuously improve content strategy and delivery.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
OR equivalent experience.
3+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.
3+ years experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
2+ years experience creating and managing planning-related content including executive narratives, planning frameworks, milestone communications, and enablement materials.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
OR equivalent experience.
6+ years management (e.g., people, project, process, vendor, change) experience
Proven ability to translate complex business strategies into clear, compelling narratives and visual content.
Proficient writing, editing, and storytelling skills tailored for executive and field audiences.
Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
