We are hiring immediately for a full time WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT position.

Location: TAMU - 600 Agronomy Road, College Station, TX 77843. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)

Requirement: Prior customer service and/or parts purchasing experience.

Pay Range: $14.00 per hour to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Under general supervision, participates in the many activities of the warehouse operation. Effectively interacts

with staff, students and faculty in conducting daily workplace duties. Contributes to a safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by receiving verbal/written material requisitions from SSC personnel and filling the orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsible for purchasing, receiving, loading, unloading, storage and distribution of equipment, materials and supplies to company employees.

Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as needed in a safe manner.

Participate in annual inventory and cycle counts

Use in-house computer system, internet, paper catalogs and any other means necessary to identify and source materials as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands: Sits, stands, bends, kneels, climbs stairs, ladders, and equipment, has good sense of balance to work on heights. Some lifting of medium and/or heavy equipment and tools. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, stand for extended periods of time and will frequently be required to lift heavy materials.

Working Conditions: Working conditions will primarily be in an office environment, however there will be some exposure to elevated degrees of high heat, noise, dust, dirt. Work whatever hours necessary to perform job in a safe including weekends and nights..
