Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
V2X is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the legal department. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the Legal Operations Manager will oversee all operational administrative duties, processes, and ensuring the members of the legal department have the support they need to run their groups efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates tasks of various team members within the legal department and carrying out the necessary operations within
Assists the department with upgrading, updating and streamlining processes, procedures, systems and software to increase efficiencies.
Manages onboarding of new team members while collaborating with Talent Acquisition, HR and IT
Partners with internal stakeholders in Human Resources, IT, Finance and attorneys in the legal department with the primary focus of identifying dependencies and facilitating collaboration.
Develops playbooks and reports with data-driven methods to control costs and forecast budget needs.
Stays up to date with industry trends of legal operations within the government contracting space.
Manages invoices for the legal department and creates/updates tracking process.
Obtains and analyzes data related to legal metrics to identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and reduce cost to the department.
Assists with identifying and deploying new technologies to bring innovation to the team.
Manages special projects as requested.
Must be able to work extended hours, as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree and 7+years' experience in legal operations. One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Desired Experience:
Deep understanding of legal department structure, functions (compliance, litigation, corporate ethics, etc.)
Experience working with a large, global government contracting organization (revenue over $1B)
Experience in M&A integration
Experience working with similar labor categories as the company.
Experience analyzing the current state of a legal department and identifying what improvements a legal department needs and deploy solutions.
Experience bringing new technologies to a legal team to increase efficiency.
Experience managing relationships with vendors and clients.
Other Requirement:
United States citizenship required.
Skills:
Ability to fluently communicate using the English language: this includes commensurate skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
Demonstrated ability and proficiency in the utilization of a desktop computer, telephone, and general office equipment systems as directed and/or required in the performance of all assigned duties.
Considerable skill in project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
Integrity: high ethical standards and a strong moral compass are imperative. Honesty, credibility, a strong sense of responsibility and the will to follow through on commitments are critical attributes in this position.

The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
USD $ 95,000 - 180,000
Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
