Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to lead and optimize the accounts payable operations in our Fontana, California office. This role involves managing a small team, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, and fostering strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the accounts payable team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in processing over 700 invoices weekly.

Ensure compliance with company policies and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Coordinate and perform invoice coding, check runs, and ACH payments.

Manage vendor relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments.

Conduct detailed research and analysis on short payments and discounts.

Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounts payable operations.

Utilize intermediate to advanced Excel skills to streamline reporting and analysis.

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.

Lead team training and development, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

Requirements - At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a small team.

Proficiency in coding invoices, performing check runs, and processing ACH payments.

Strong analytical skills for researching payment discrepancies and discounts.

Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, including the ability to work with complex data.

Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP Business One, is highly desirable.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
