Job Title: Purchasing Analyst

Job Description

The Purchasing Analyst will play a crucial role in assisting the purchasing team by processing quotes in the Ariba/SAP system. This position involves strategizing to improve business operations, meeting with stakeholders, gathering and interpreting data, and supporting system migrations.

Responsibilities

Assist the purchasing team with processing quotes in the Ariba/SAP system.

Strategize ideas to enhance business operations and meet with stakeholders to provide suggestions based on analysis.

Gather and analyze data effectively.

Interpret gathered data and submit reports to relevant department heads and management.

Identify patterns and trends in analyzed data.

Help management and other teams draw business goals and needs.

Establish new data gathering and analysis techniques within the organization.

Formulate procedural manuals for all departments.

Support the migration from legacy data systems to current platforms.

Support regional design and launch of iERP systems.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience as an analyst in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Purchasing.

2+ years of experience using SAP or ERP systems to process quotes.

Intermediate/Advanced Excel proficiency (80% or higher on intermediate Excel test).

Strong analytical skills and business acumen.

Effective communication skills and self-motivation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience supporting buyers with entering and managing quotes.

Background as a Buyer Assistant.

Bachelor's Degree.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
