Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Managed Services IT Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing 24/7 IT operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, and maintaining optimal performance of our managed services. This role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of ITIL practices, and hands-on experience with both GCP and AWS. The candidate will also be accountable for budgeting, incident management, problem resolution, and change management.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
24/7 IT Operations Management:
Oversee and ensure continuous IT support and service delivery.
Manage a team of IT professionals to provide round-the-clock support.
ITIL Practices:
Implement and maintain ITIL best practices for service management.
Ensure compliance with ITIL standards in incident, problem, and change management.
Cloud Services Expertise:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the IT operations budget.
Monitor expenditures and optimize cost-efficiency.
Incident, Problem, and Change Management:
Oversee incident response and resolution processes.
Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis.
Manage changes to IT systems, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT operations management, preferably in a managed services environment.
Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and certifications (ITIL Foundation or higher).
Proficiency in GCP and AWS cloud platforms.
Demonstrated experience in budget management.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $190,900.00.
