In this role, you will:
Participate in underwriting the creditworthiness of moderately complex commercial or business loan and lease requests
Perform periodic reviews on assigned portfolio credits while maintaining risk ratings and other relevant data on systems of record
Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables
Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise within Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with Equipment Finance Underwriting colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external customers
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Equipment Finance Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of Equipment/Vendor Finance Underwriting experience
Experience performing financial statement analysis
Commercial Banking/Vendor Financial Services experience
Bachelor's degree in either Finance, Accounting or Economics
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced deadline driven environment
Energetic, quick learner, positive attitude, self-motivated
Ability to work independently, organizing and managing multiple priorities
Experience with Siebel ROW or similar system a plus
Job Expectations:
Ability to work a hybrid work schedule
