Title: Supervisor, Formulation Manufacturing

Shift: 3rd Shift (12 Flex)

Location/Division Specific Information

Position reports to Plainville, MA site. Thermo Fisher Scientific's Viral Vector Services (VVS) is a rapidly growing, dynamic gene therapy contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that is seeking sharp individuals to bring the highest quality processes, products and testing to our clients. A Day in the Life:

Lead and manage a team of 3-6 manufacturing technicians.

Ensure adherence to cGMP regulations and company policies.

Promote safety and continuous improvement within the team.

Keys to Success:

Education

Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.

Experience

4-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing environment.

At least 2 years of supervisory experience highly desired.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Detailed understanding of cGMPs.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

Proven track record in managing diverse teams.

Ability to adhere strictly to all PPE requirements within cGMP manufacturing.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role requires the ability to gown aseptically, sit and stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift, walk, and perform manual tasks.

Specific vision requirements are vital to fulfill documentation duties.
