This role is designed for individuals who are flexible, motivated, and ready to take on rewarding opportunities across diverse industries while delivering outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accounting support to clients across various industries as a dedicated professional representing Robert Half.

Perform essential staff accounting tasks, including reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

Collaborate with client teams on-site to identify and solve accounting challenges.

Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, prepare reports, and support decision-making.

Adapt to client requirements, processes, and systems while adhering to key accounting principles and standards.

Requirements

Staff Accounting Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Excel Expertise: Mastery of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced Excel tools is essential.

Flexibility to Travel: Must be willing to commute and travel to various client locations across Long Island, NY.

On-Site Commitment: This is not a remote role; you must be available to work on location.

Public Accounting Experience (Plus): Previous experience in public accounting is a strong advantage.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
