Job Summary and Qualifications

You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring

You will foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives

You will stay abreast of legal and regulatory standards and ensures compliance, and develop and implement policies, procedures and practices in compliance with all legal/regulatory standards

You will direct nursing practice and unit operations, develop policies/procedures and nursing standards to ensure patient and family needs are assessed, met, and evaluated

You will ensure effective labor management, including position control, scheduling excellence, productivity management, and premium pay utilization

What qualifications you will need:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or approved education plan required

Master's degree preferred

1+ years of experience in healthcare required

1+ years of experience in a leadership role required

3+ years of experience in healthcare and in a leadership role preferred

Current license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required

National Nursing Certification in Specialty or Nursing Leadership preferred
