Warehouse Accounting & Logistics Manager

General Summary: We are looking for a Warehouse Accounting & Logistics Manager for our Leather Warehouse facility in Hickory, NC that will oversee the Warehouse and Administration team, create forecasting reports, manage an P&L and support the Hickory Leather Warehouse and it's partners. This person will be responsible for the accounting and financial controls/reports, collaborate with our foreign controller/accounting teams in Brazil on reporting and controls within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the warehouse administration team and guide them in their daily functions

Collaborate with Brazil accounting/finance and controller teams on forecasting, data analysis and operational costs.

Control and report all expenses that occur within the warehouse operations.

Create and control the maintenance plan for the warehouse.

Be responsive to changes in procurement, adjust daily reporting accordingly.

Ensure team members are kept up to date on policies and procedures within the warehouse.

Full ownership of P&L, presenting P&L performance to leadership.

Manage financial modeling and scenario planning to support P&L strategy.

Make data-driven decisions to improve profitability and reduce excessive expenses.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or Business Administration strongly preferred

Experience in supply chain, warehouse management and/or inventory controls preferred

Experience in Microsoft Excel required

Proven experience managing full P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting required.

Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret and act on financial statements and KPIs.

Experience in developing and executing business plans that align with P&L goals.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve financial targets and improve operational efficiency.

Experience in SAP preferred

Experience in warehouse ERP or inventory tracking preferred

Ability to wear multiple hats and pivot quickly from task to task

Strong communication skills-verbal and written across various businesses, countries/time zones.

Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

Base salaryrange of$80,000-$90,000,

Incentive Pay:This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
